Just a short one this week: I wish you all happy easter holidays!

As musicians we usually work different hours than the “normal” people so we’re often on the road when our family and friends are home and vice versa. Especially in this crazy times (if you read this later: unfortunately we’re still dealing with COVID-19 virus at the time) we musicians work mostly from home so we do anything we can to survive. That also means that we work at any possible time of day there is something to do: practicing, writing, playing in the morning, writing blogs and shooting videos throughout the day, teaching Zoom lessons at night…

That’s why it’s very important to know when to stop and concentrate on more important things. “More important than music?” you’ll say? Yes! Much more important! Your family and friends! And holidays like Christmas and Easter are perfect for this because everybody is home so we can all come together and have some quality time with each other. For an artist this is as important as the music itself. It feeds your soul, you get a fresh input, new images and ideas, new feelings that you can later translate into your music. You kind of reset yourself a bit from your everyday’s life and you should by all means do that from time to time…

Once again: happy holidays everybody! Go and grab something to eat and drink, have a party, have a good laugh and spend a great long weekend with your loved ones!
